I walked about the sand tonight,
I gazed through and through,
The beach rested nothing in sight,
So none of thine dreams came true.
I hear a voice scream,
But none dwelled here,
Not the noise of a horrid dream,
Not nothing neither too near.
But then I heard the voice get closer,
And caught the noise of the scream.
I realize I then sink to the ground in fear,
And as I figured, I know it not a dream.
